Notes	Curren Lee Rogers was born on April 2, 1869 in Guadalupe County, Texas. He entered the Ranger Service in 1888 at the age of nineteen. He acquired his nickname "Kid" while serving with his older brother, Sergeant J. H. Rogers, in Company F. He transferred to Company C in 1893 when his brother was promoted. "Kid" Rogers was promoted to second lieutenant in 1900 and resigned in 1901 to manage a ranch in south Texas. He died following complications during surgery on July 24, 2901. He is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetary at San Antonio, Texas.
