To search for a single keyword: type the word you want to find, then click Search.
(Ex. Ranger will bring up all results that contain the word “Ranger.”)
To search for multiple keywords: type the words you want to find with a single space between them, then click Search.
(Ex. Texas Ranger Badge will bring up all results that contain “Texas” or “Ranger” or “Badge,” or a combination of the three.)
To search for an exact phrase or spelling: type the words or phrase you want to find in quotation marks, then click Search.
(Ex. “Texas Ranger” will only return results where “Texas” and “Ranger” are featured side by side in that order. Searching “Ranger Texas” will return very different results.)
To search for records using a partial word: type the partial word followed by an asterisk (*), then click Search.
(Ex. Rock* will bring up all results that contain words beginning with “Rock,” such as “Rock” , “ “Rocky” , and “Rockingham.” )
To search for records containing all desired keywords: type the words you want to find with the word “AND” between them, then click Search.
(Ex. Texas AND Ranger will only return results that contain both “Texas” and “Ranger,” but not necessarily featured side by side or in that order.)
