Photo taken of the Texas Rangers at El Paso when all Rangers were called in to help shut down the illegal Maher-Fitzsimmons Prize Fight. The heavyweight championship fight took place on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande on February 21, 1896. Photograph by N. H.
