Bruce Casteel joined the Texas DPS in 1967 with the Texas Highway Patrol. He also worked as a DPS Polygraph Examiner. He promoted to the Rangers in 1973 and served in Companies C, D, and HQ, in Harlingen, San Antonio, Lubbock, and Austin. He attained the rank of Chief and specialized in SWAT and forensic hypnosis. Upon retirement from the Rangers he worked as a movie consultant and in real estate investments. |
