Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver, .36 caliber, 6-shot, blued w/ wood grips, s/n 65969. The revolver was manufactured in 1857 and was once owned by Texas Ranger J. B. Gillett. The Texas Rangers used this revolver in the late 1850s, and more than 255,000 of this model were manufactured from late 1850 until 1873. |
