Colt Third Model Dragoon 6 shot revolver, manufactured in 1860. Wood grips and metal frame, with an engraved cylinder picturing battle between indians and military. Cylinder reads "MODEL U.S.M.R." and "W.L. Ormsby Sc N.Y." SN 19165. W. L. Ormsby was an engraver who produced the early scenes engraved on cylinder rolls. |
