Jeff Eagle Vaughan and John R. Hughes on horseback, seemingly in a parade. Photograph is captioned: "Last of the Texas Rangers." Hughes was Vaughan's First Captain. Record says photo was taken at the New York Rodeo at Madison Square Gardens, but it closely resembles another photo marked as taken in California in 1938. |
