Notes	Richard Shing joined Texas DPS in 1976 with the Texas Highway Patrol. He promoted to Ranger in 1993 and attained the rank of Sergeant, serving in Company B in Garland. His Ranger specializations included forensic hypnosis and blood spatter analysis. He received a citation for superior performance in methamphetamine distribution investigation from the DEA and Rowlett Police Department. Upon retiring from the Rangers in 2008, he worked in corporate security.
