James R. Robinson enlisted as a Private in Co. C Frontier Battalion under Capt. George H. Schmitt on Sept. 4, 1885 and was discharged Aug. 31, 1887. He enlisted as a member and shortly after as 1st Corporal in Co. D Frontier Battalion under Capt. Frank Jones on July 1, 1888 and was discharged March 31, 1890. He enlisted as a Private in Co. F Frontier Battalion under Capt. J. A. Brooks on April 5, 1891 and was discharged June 16, 1891. |
