Notes	Ranger of Company B Captain of Company C from 1981-1988 Charlie Moore was born on January 18, 1924 in Honey Grove, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and later joined the Texas Highway Patrol. Moore promoted to the Texas Rangers, serving in Companies B and C. He promoted to Captain of Company C in 1981 and retired from the Rangers in 1988. He died in Dallas on Oct. 28, 1990 at the age of 66. He is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.
