Notes	Morgan Miller was born in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, on November 13, 1945 to Morgan and Vivian Miller. All of Morgan’s early education was in Brownsville, and he graduated from Brownsville High School in 1963. He then attended Texas Southmost College in his hometown before transferring to Victoria Junior College in Victoria. He enlisted in the US Army in 1965 and served during the Vietnam War. Miller joined the Texas DPS in 1968 with the Texas Highway Patrol, working in Victoria, San Antonio, and McAllen. He promoted to the Rangers in 1976, in Co. D, in McAllen, Kingsville, and back to Victoria. He retired from the Rangers in 2008.
