Notes	Frank Horger was born on Feb. 14, 1927 in Sharyland (McAllen), Texas. He graduated from high school there, and afterward served in the US Marine Corps until 1947. He joined the Texas DPs in 1950 with the Texas Highway Patrol, stationed in San Antonio and then McAllen. He promoted to the Rangers in 1961, serving in Company D in Corpus Christi, McAllen, and Lubbock, before transferring back to McAllen and retiring from there in August 1986. He died on 20 June 1999, in Hidalgo, Texas, United States, at the age of 72.
