Notes	Steve Foster joined the Texas DPS in 1978 with the Texas Highway Patrol. He promoted to the Texas Rangers in 1996, serving in Companies C and F, in Plainview, Athens, and Waco. He attained the rank of Sergeant and specialized in hypnosis, blood spatter analysis, and worked the tracking team. He retired from the Rangers in 2008, going on to become the Chief of Police in McGregor, Texas. He remained in that role for nearly 10 years, until 2017.
