He specialized in forensic hypnosis, blood spatter, and the Major Crime Assessment Committee. He attained the rank of Chief, serving in HQ company and also received the DPS Division Chief's Award for assisting in developing and implementing the Ranger reporting system. He retired from the Rangers in 2008.
