Charles R. "Charlie" Brune joined the Texas Department of Public Safety in 1974, serving under the Highway Patrol division. He was promoted to the Texas Rangers in 1982, where he served until 2002. During his time as a Texas Ranger, Brune revieved an award from the FBI for his role in the Branch-Davidian Investigation. Since his retirement, Brune has served in numerous different law enforcement offices. |
