Letter from Adjutant General W. H. Mabry to Special Ranger J. J. Ringer, dated Feb. 10, 1893. Single page letter on Adjutant General's Office stationery. He addresses Ringer on his new duties: "You have been appointed special Ranger, and attached to Co. D front Batt. You will report monthly to this office and to Capt. Fnk Jones, at Marathon, Tx as required by special order No. 6 from this office, dated Mch 6, 1891." There is also writing on the back, and a list of numbers. |
