Sanders was enlisted as Ranger Captain on Feb. 1, 1911 at Laredo, and spent his time in south Texas during the volatile period of the Mexican Revolution. He was a Captain of Co. B and then Co. A. His company was disbanded in the spring of 1919 after the Rangers suspended Sanders from duty. after investigations into Ranger conduct on the border during the Canales investigation, it was determined Sanders would not be reappointed and he was relieved from duty March 4, 1919, |
